Hey, I'm Laura.
Modern old-fashion farm girl who loves playing music and stuffing food into Mason jars.
Organic gardening, fermenting, regenerative agriculture, and hunting down traditional old-fashioned skills are my regular pastimes. On our homestead, we regularly use hippy dippy homemade herbal remedies to support a healthy lifestyle.
My husband Joe and I live on a 5 acre homestead in the prairie lands of Northern Illinois with a menagerie of critters including two little boys, pasture poultry, horses, and organic laying hens. I love helping families live a simple, self sufficient life.
